March 20-22, 2015

March 27-29, 2015

The seventeenth annual Pacific Northwest Qualifier (PNQ) is scheduled for play at the Spokane Convention Center (Spokane, WA), Eastern Washington University (Cheney, WA), and the HUB Sports Center (Liberty Lake, WA). We have teams competing in morning and afternoon waves on 30+ courts. This allows us to accept approximately 60 officials including National referees, Junior National referees, National and Jr. National candidates, local Regional officials, Regional officials from other regions, and referee chair-recommended Provisional officials.

In order to officiate at the PNQ, you must be a current USA Volleyball member and have passed a background screening. Please register through your local USA Volleyball region. f your region does not require a background screening, please contact Margie Ray so that she can send you the appropriate form. You will be responsible for the background screening fee. **Please note that background screenings can take up to 8 business days to clear, so make sure you take care of this early as you will not be able to work until the screening has cleared.

There will be meeting for all officials at 9:00 pm on the Thursdays prior to the event at the Doubletree Hotel. Please make every effort to arrive on time for these meetings. Check back for the specific location.

Please bring your complete officiating uniform -- standard white official's shirt, navy blue slacks, black belt, white socks, white tennis shoes, and appropriate USAV official's patch.

The PNQ provides all out-of-town officials a shared hotel room for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. You will be given your hotel assignment the week of the tournament.

Lunch will be provided all three days of the tournament, with dinner being provided on Friday and Saturday as well. Some water will be provided, but please remember to bring other snacks and additional water if you need these things to stay energized and hydrated.

The tournament will be operating a courtesy vehicle to and from the hotel and playing venues for those officials who will not have a vehicle. Please make sure to mark this information on your reply form so that we are able to arrange housing more efficiently.

In addition to your hotel and meals, officials working the entire event will be paid $550 for an estimated 6-8 matches on Friday and Saturday, and 4-6 matches on Sunday (otherwise prorated).

Thank you for your interest in being an official at our tournament. We work hard to make this a great event for all involved!
